Text Box: Five diligent, dedicated and unpaid people slave to bring you this association, its three yearly newsletters and this website. The information about the 2007 ride season is coming in and we are hard at work sorting things out. Jan Collins, our Secretary, who seems to get all the mind boggling jobs, is sorting through and making sense of all the info coming in from the ride managers about the ride season. Jan also keeps track of the rider and horse mileages as they come in from the ride sponsors and keeps a running tally. Once she is finished with this, she turns the info over to Janet Marantz, our VP and Newsletter Editor who will turn the results into a publication that will be sent to all our members. Janet will then pass this info on to Pat Darmofal, our Treasurer and Website Person who will incorporate the listing in the website for all the world to see. She is keeping the website updated as rides are added. Wendy Good, our VP and Awards Program Manager, is making sure that all the breed award donors are prepared for the Awards ceremony in April. She keeps track of the award program throughout the year In the meantime, we thought you might like to see some of us and the horses we ride Text Box: JAN COLLINS AND ARABA FABLE We are all proud of Jan. The article was a special report on the “Secrets of Success” and a photo of our Jan was featured under the section for distance riding. Way to go Jan!! What do you think that Sabrina Fair (above) would think about this ? Text Box: As you can see, our interests in horses are many and varied. We trail ride, both competitive and pleasure. We camp out with our horses, everything from the overnight ride, to the 9 day Cross State. We engage in eventing, fox hunting, driving and showing. Whatever else we do with our horses, we all enjoy trail riding. We also enjoy bringing you this club, the ride listings, the website and the mileage recognition. Be gentle with us dear members, because as you can see, we would rather be out riding !!
